Choreography
This year, I have had the pleasure of getting to experiment with choreography and create my own pieces for a Composition class, as part of my dance minor. While this has been challenging, the process and result have been most rewarding. I've learned to challenge myself more as a dancer and as an artist. It is useful to go outside of the box and explore techniques and motifs that feel abnormal or strange. There are so many different paths that one can take when it comes to choreographing a piece. I think the most important thing I've learned while creating these pieces is to not reject imperfection, but rather to embrace it instead.
